Jordan had a fantastic Little League season,

finishing with an 18 win, 1 loss record and winning

the league championship.  Jordan was usually

the starting pitcher, amazingly cool and calm and

even when he had 3 and 0 count (3 balls and 0 strikes)

his next three pitches would be solid strikes to get

the batter out.  For the final game Jordan pitched

almost 5 of the 6 total innings to win the championship.

In mid-June the family visited Toronto, Canada

where Jordan and Madison caught up with their

over 20 cousins.  Weekends back in California

included the County Fair and a long weekend up

at Lake Tahoe.  It is currently fairly quiet around

the house as 11-year old Jordan has been away

for two weeks at camp in the Santa Cruz Mountains.

Just prior to that Jordan went to his first Boy Scout

camp, joined by his Dad and they went backpacking

with 90 other scouts into the high Sierras to sleep

under the stars.  New to Scouts after five years

of Cub Scouts, Jordan advanced to Tenderfoot

and then Second Class and now is close to

becoming First Class.  His sister Madison, who

turns six later this month goes to day camp where

she learns crafts, dancing, and has an assortment

of camp adventures.  Next week soccer season

begins, with Dad coaching Madison’s U-6 girl’s

team and helping out with Jordan’s U-12 White

Plus boy’s team.
