Ah, Summer - the time for kids to have endless fun day after day (while the parents go to great lengths to keep them safely occupied and still maintain family sanity!)  Jordan finished his Little League season with the Awesome Rockies, unbeatable (of course, at his level with no team keeping score every team was unbeatable!)  Jordan made terrific improvements as did his entire team.  I was helping coach, and what an awesome experience seeing six and seven year olds go from barely able to catch or throw, to catching fly balls and throwing the ball all the way from 3rd to 1st base by the end of the season!  His baby sister, Madison, is a little water bug in the pool and next year she will start swim lessons.  Both kids had a lot of fun at the County Fair, the annual Kids Fest in Concord, and hanging out at the beach up at Lake Tahoe where you lie on the sand and can gaze at snow still covering the Sierra peaks.  Their dad, Jeff, organized the 5^th annual Dads/Kids camping trip, Madison’s first time camping, with 50 dads and kids having a great time playing soccer, baseball and hiking.  Jordan is now in the second grade and just went from Tiger Cub to Wolf Cub.  Madison will turn two August 23^rd.  We will be headed to Michigan in August for a wedding and then, leaving Dad at work, the family will head to Lake Tahoe for more fun!
