During April and May, Jordan and Madison experienced a number of great adventures and learning experiences.  Jordan, who just turned 7 on May 26, finally lost his first tooth.  As his classmates teeth fell out regularly during the past year, Jordan wondered if the Tooth Fairy had totally forgotten about him, but his day finally arrived and the dentist said he is doing just fine.  Jordan is in his second year of Little League and plays with the San Ramon Valley Rockies, with his dad acting as the Coach, and Matt Waterson as the Manager.  He and the other boys are truly having a blast, with one practice and two games per week.  Last week Jordan caught his first fly ball, and he has been able to handle all the bases and bat solid hits.  In his first grade class his teacher, Mrs. Hermann, had the students painting in the style of Picasso, O’Keefe, Van Gogh and other Masters, and it is amazing how great an educational experience he is getting!  His dad volunteers to help out in the classroom and act as yard monitor, and has experienced this educational quality firsthand.

Baby Madison is not such a baby anymore.  Now at 20 months, she is running, just starting to kick a miniature soccer ball, loves to play the pool (closely watched, of course), and now has her own computer with pre-school software she loves to play with.  Turn on music and Madison immediately starts to dance, and words are slowly becoming distinguishable.
