Jordan who turned eight on May 26 and Madison
who turned three August 23^rd had a great last part of summer! They spent a few weeks up at Lake Tahoe, riding an old steam train in Carson City, checking out all the festivities at the annual rib cook-off at Sparks, and hiking, biking, rafting and lots of visits to the Tahoe beaches. Jordan is on the verge of beating his dad in pee wee golf, and Madison seems to get a hole-in-one every few games. Madison started pre-school, where her dad volunteers once a month. Jordan’s soccer team, the Strikers, is having a blast, and it is neat to see how each year the players gain a quantum leap of game understanding, actually getting open, making solid passes, staying in position, and taking the game to the next level.

Madison will be taking beginning dance and soccer
(what else but beginning for a three-year old!) so we should have some interesting photos for you in the upcoming months!
