Jordan, who turned 9 in May, and Madison,
who had her 4th birthday on August 23rd,
had one of the best summers ever. Jordan spent one week at cub scout camp and
another week at soccer camp. Most of the
rest of summer the kids were up at
Lake Tahoe building huge sandcastles
on the beach, mountain biking, rafting the Truckee River, and having one adventure
after another. They also were able to
spend two weeks in Santa Monica, checking
out both Disneyland and Universal Studios
and boogy-boarding the California coastline with schools of dolphins frolicking in
the background. (True, I had to see this
myself to believe it...). Now it's back to school for both, with Jordan an active Cub Scout working on his Webelos disignation and his sister Madison in her last year of pre-school.
