A new startup called LiquidSpace lets its mobile application users locate a spare desk or conference room on short notice to rent as little as for a 15 minute slot, or as long as a day. LiquidSpace estimates there are 110 million mobile workers in the U.S., including those based in offices, at home, at Starbucks, and with no base at all.
