I haven’t seen much in the way of recent new office construction figures

out in the East Bay because why build new when you can buy used for 20 or 30 cents on the dollar, but just saw an announcement that Cal State East Bay at Hayward is planning on spending $40.5 million on a new 67,000 square foot administration building … gosh, that works out to $604 a square foot … hope it is gold plated and filled with bells and whistles at that lofty price …
