Jordan had a great past couple of months with his 5th birthday party (with a Spiderman theme) in the beginning of June.  In June he went to the Contra Costa Fair to see the Monster Trucks crash eight cars at a time, which for boys is quite a thrill.  The highlight was an eight-day trip up the California coast to Southern Oregon , with long hikes through the redwood forests up in Humboldt County .  His dad took Jordan and his two cousins Paolo and Patrick out on nighttime flashlight hikes in the woods, which was spooky when an occasional set of eyes glowed back in the flashlight beam.  Jordan spent three days living in a treehouse hotel, went horseback riding twice on his horse 'Chief,' and learned to rapell down a 60 foot tree.  All in all, quite a fun time!

Uh oh, this is harder than it looks...

He's the happy horseman!

Spider Man is my favorite cake flavor!

Wow, all for me?

Hey Dad, can I get one of these when I get a little older?

Come on, Dad, drive me around the track one more time!
