The Big Picture U.S. office market

Most metro areas showed positive absorption in 4th quarter 2016, but overall net absorption is down, and the U.S. office-using employment growth is expected to fall from 2.4% in 2016 to 1.4% in 2017. The San Francisco Bay Area remains the tightest of the top 10 markets with a 5.6% vacancy rate. (Colliers, Knowledge Leader, February 8, 2017)
